The Longlist: Part 4
Sep. 3rd, 2010 05:54 pm
At this stage I'm still dreaming; I'm writing things down regardless of whether or not I think I have the physical, financial, or chronological capacity to do them. Writing them down, and seeing other people's comments on them, is helping me to work out how practical they are, and how badly I want to do them. Still, at the moment, the sky's the limit.
- learn how to tie a bow tie
- make a garment from a pattern I cut myself
- leave flowers at a stranger's grave
- have one of my photographs framed and on display
- grow my eyebrows back and keep them that way
- make platski/pierogi/piernicki/lebkuchen/churros/crumpets
- hold a dinner party; hold a picnic
- make a list of simple things that make me happy
- pass LO assessment centre
- sort 5 boxes of my stuff from my father's house
- get ECDL
- make a photo collage/clip frame
- make 3 home-made Christmas presents per year
- eat out [at a restaurant] 6 times
- another row of badges on the camp blanket
- learn to waltz
- take 100 photos of strangers
- switch to Linux
- have 5 different people to stay
- explore my square mile
- get watch fixed
- write 5 letters to my MP
- grow a 10' sunflower
- have: 1 suit, 1 little black dress, 1 full-length evening dress
- use every kitchen appliance at least once
- throw a fancy dress party
- have big 26th birthday gathering in Exeter
- go on a nature trail
- learn about the history of everywhere I've lived
- wear a bikini
- write two 1000+ word stories for Yuletide
- see 1 grand opera, 1 light opera/operetta, 1 musical, 1 ballet
- take 5 good portraits. If appropriate, give prints to the subjects
- watch 10 pre-1960 films I've not seen before
- watch 10 1960-present films I've not seen before
Some of these are variants on possibilities I've already posted. I've tried to weed out those that are exact duplicates, but may have missed some. If there are any duplicates on the final list I will have done something very wrong indeed.
